Scenes from Seoul

Seoul sidewalks.

Here I am in Incheon International Airport waiting to board our flight to Cebu and sipping on a Caribou Coffee Iced Mocha. (CARIBOU in Seoul!?!? CARIBOU in Seoul! Weird and wonderful.)

I'm excited to share more photos from this amazing city, but for now you'll be getting a glimpse of it through my iPhone since the DSLR is tucked away under towels, makeup, and travel toilet paper.

Train in Seoul filled with people.

Woman drinking a smoothie in a coffee shop.

Egg on rice with sesame seeds.

Motorcycle in Seoul.

Woman and man smiling.

Happy weekend to all of you! Next stop, Cebu!

Every time I read your posts, I can’t help but sing the Veggie Tales song “The Song of the Cebu”. What an amazing opportunity you guys have! I can’t imagine how stressful it must be, but you will surely be blessed for answering the call to help the least of these!

Hi Lindsay and Bjork – It’s a wonderful thing to be young, adventurous, and filled with the rush of anticipation for what lies ahead. You’ve done a stellar job of taking us along on your journey and helping us experience your high and low moments. It gives some of us a moment to reflect on our own journeys…still others, perhaps, the impetus to break out and chart a new course. I look forward to much more and wish that this experience strengthens the deep bond you clearly share with one another.

I don’t know why the comment form is not showing up on your post from today – home for the year – but it’s not. I think it’s probably my computer. But anyway – I wanted to say hello, and tell you I can feel what you’re feeling – I think. I remember spending time in towns like that and your heart starts to ache. I wish I could do a better job of explaining how I feel when I’m reading about your days and just the fact that you are sharing with us. I am so grateful for both. Sending love and prayers your way – with a special request for a fixed toilet. 😉
